“My first passion was painting. It still is. I’m inspired by the abstract expressionist movement; the wonderful playfulness between light and shade and its random use of colour. It was a pleasure to personally work with the glazing team to design each mug. We used individual brush strokes, leaving the exterior of the mug raw and unglazed to celebrate its handmade imperfections.
